LAS VEGAS!

Hello Everyone,

If you plan on attending, please fill out the registration form and mail it in with your check AND please call the hotel to make your reservations ASAP. We really need the rooms booked sooner than later to ensure that we’ll all be on the same floors (and same buildings) together. With between 100-150 attendees at each of the last 5+ Western States Canvention’s, we expect that number to jump with the move back to Vegas.

You’ll notice that the price of the show went up by $15 for collectors & $5 for non-collectors. One of the greatest obstacles to putting a show on in Vegas turned out to be the cost. Everything seems to cost twice as much. Due to the additional costs of the show floor space, auction room & hospitality suite (about $2350 extra this year), this was the only way to cover some of the cost. While in Vegas this year, I plan on scouting other hotels for future shows in the hopes we can bring that cost down.

You’ll also notice on this registration form that there is a place to order your t-shirt in advance. Just be sure to include your size. In the past I’ve ended up with a bunch of extras shirts, but this year I won’t be ordering many extras over what people purchase in advance, so please consider that while registering. The shirt will be the Royal LP cone from Reno & if you’ve seen the shirts from previous years, you know they look pretty good. Be sure to include an extra $3 if ordering shirts larger than 2x.

We’ve had quite a few people step up and offer help this year, & I’ll be getting that organized in the coming month. If you are willing to help out in any way, please email me back. I’ll put you on Santa’s “good” list.

Room rates at the hotel will be $99/night, including Saturday. We’ll also keep the hospitality room on Saturday night for those that want to finish out the weekend in Vegas.

For those chapters that are willing to include this flyer in their newsletter, it would benefit everyone that is coming to the show. You can also include this email to explain things or take parts of it, or whatever you need.
